PROJECT NAME: ‘’Our Actions are Our Future!’’
ABOUT US – PROJECT SUMMARY
Our project brings together four partner institutions from different geographical regions to strengthen primary school teachers’ competencies in sustainable environmental education. In line with the priorities of Erasmus+ and the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, the project aims to empower teachers with the knowledge, skills, and innovative pedagogical approaches needed to guide students toward becoming active Environmental Citizens. By integrating sustainability principles into daily school life, the project fosters a long-term culture of environmental responsibility within both schools and local communities.
Objectives
The primary objective of the project is to enhance teachers’ professional capacity in delivering high-quality environmental education. We aim to combine green skills and digital competences, enabling teachers to design engaging, student-centered learning experiences. Through international cooperation and shared expertise, the project also seeks to develop adaptable teaching resources, strengthen environmental citizenship, and create sustainable, community-based environmental practices.
Implementation
To achieve these goals, the project includes a series of structured learning, training, and cooperation activities such as:
●LET’S GO GREEN Transnational Mobility
●SAVE THE EARTH Transnational Mobility
●LET’S JOIN THE GREEN SIDE Workshops
●LET’S BE MORE ECOLOGICAL Transnational Mobility
●GREEN VIBES ONLY Virtual Info Day & Online Workshops
These activities provide teachers with hands-on experience, collaborative learning opportunities, and access to innovative educational tools.
Expected ResultsAt the end of the two-year project period, teachers will have strengthened their digital, green, and pedagogical competencies and gained practical resources to support sustainable environmental education. The project will encourage positive environmental behaviors among both teachers and students, creating long-lasting environmental awareness and citizenship. With a bottom-up approach, the outcomes will be shared with stakeholders to ensure long-term sustainability and wider community impact.
